If this is still a place to post song request, i’d love to see a piano-solo arrangement lesson on coldplay – everglow : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=P8jOQUsTU9oApril 28, 2016 at 7:06 pm #2042
I started this post it seems like decades ago. I noticed this cause I have no life and I was trolling thru the old posts. I like your song. If you get no replies here, try starting a new post where it will get the attention it deserves.

This is not the most active forum on the internet it seems.
Looks like this thread should be just as easy to stumble over as a new one…
Anyway i’m a beginner and it would be a long time before i could even hope to play
an interesting arrangement of everglow to a satisfactory level, But we all need something to reach for, right?
This song is probably my favourite on their new album, it would be cool to see what willy could make of it.

The forum is a little slow right now with the weather getting nicer, a lot of students are enjoying some sunshine. But we are still here for you. If you need any help or have any questions feel free to write in to email@example.com.May 10, 2016 at 3:11 pm #2096
Hey Frank, even though I may not always reply, I do see all of these posts. Steve is correct, to get your posts seen is to make a new post.
We’re working on new rock stuff, it just takes some time.May 10, 2016 at 5:30 pm #2100
I just thought that ‘song request’ would be better collected in one thread, rather than spread all over.
Maybe a sticky thread where you simply write name and youtube link, to keep it ‘clean’? Maybe a polling function? So willie can see what is most interesting. But that would have to be managed so that would mean more work. Maybe a member could manage a polling thread like that if the forum software supports it.
Just throwing out some ideas here 😉May 11, 2016 at 5:39 pm #2105
All great ideas Frank. There was a polling function in the old system. There are just to many songs and not enough time.May 12, 2016 at 11:28 am #2108
I’ve tried the polling system in the past and honestly it didn’t work well. So, there are basically (2) ways for a song request to get made. 1 free, 1 paid option.
The free option – create a post on the forum and try to get as many people to write in that they too would want that song to be done. With so many students and so many styles, I need to try to find a song/style that -most- students are interested in. Right now, there is a thread requesting the song “Alice In Wonderland.” There are 2 people who are interested in the song, not enough yet to justify making it a full lesson. I am looking for 5 or more students to be interested in a song/style.
So, for this thread, there are many songs listed. I think it would be better to break them out and be sure to put a YouTube video along with them. This is something that you can’t do easily with a poll. Then students can comment and say whether or not they’re interested.
The paid option – For a fee, I can create a lesson that is specific to your needs. Right now the price is $150 (may change). You start by filling out this form then pay for the lesson. Most lessons I will create. However, if it is something that I don’t think I’d be best to handle or other students wouldn’t be interested in, then I’ll pass and refund the payment. So, if you pay, you either get your lesson or get your money back.
After payment you schedule your lesson date and I’ll record your lesson within about a week.
